In April 2015, I came across Shawn via a friend on Facebook who shared one of his 'Train with Shawn' monthly challenges. These continued through November and with each one, I grew stronger, more confident and more healthy. It may be relatively easy for most of us to get out and do some kind of exercise, even semi-regularly, but it's hard to form life-long habits. The difference about the programs Shawn designed was evident in both my ability to stick with it and the results. Shawn's expertise showed not only in planning exercises that targeted different muscle groups, but also in how those exercises were combined, for just the right amount of time. It resulted in a daily workout that was achievable and interesting, where strength and endurance were built up over time. Every exercise could be modified, suiting any level of fitness or age and no equipment was needed except your own body. Shawn's holistic view towards health, nutrition and fitness also helped me think more about the food I put into my body, especially those 'empty' calories. The group of people that came together from all over the country to participate and encourage each another is also a testament to Shawn's expertise, enthusiasm and passion. Shawn, you rock!"
